Graduate Applications

TLU offers graduate degrees in Education, Accounting, Athletic Training, and Data Analytics.

Graduate Students

To apply as a graduate student to TLU, you will need to have earned your bachelor’s degree or be in-progress to complete it before you begin classes at TLU. If you will not have a bachelor’s degree prior to enrolling at TLU, you will need to apply as a transfer student.

If you are a current TLU student or you graduated from TLU, please contact Elliott Powell, Director for Transfer and Graduate Admissions, to discuss application procedures. Application procedures will be different than those described below.


Application Deadlines

Start semesters for our four graduate programs are:

Accounting - Fall or Spring

Athletic Training - Summer

Data Analytics - Fall or Spring

Education - Spring, Summer or Fall

Priority Deadline for Summer and Fall Start: March 1. Files will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis after March 1


Required Documents for the Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Data Analytics, and Master of Athletic Training:

  • TLU Application: Select the application type “Graduate” when creating your application
  • Essay on your professional goals (included on TLU Application)
  • Official transcript(s) from every institution attended (including dual credit)—even if no credit was earned, a transcript is required
  • Graduate Addendum (available via your application status portal)
  • One academic and one professional recommendation (only required for Athletic Training)


Required Documents for the Master of Arts in Education:

  • TLU Application: Select the application type “Graduate” when creating your application.
  • Essay questions on your educational philosophy and professional goals (included on TLU Application)
  • Includes essay questions on your educational philosophy and professional goals
  • Official transcript(s) from every institution attended (including dual credit)—even if no credit was earned, a transcript is required
  • Current resume
