If you are a high school graduate and have not attended college (dual-credit doesn't count), apply as a first-year student.

At TLU, your application for admission also serves as your academic scholarship application, and there is no application fee.

First-Year & Transfer Application Deadlines

| Transfer Students | Priority Deadline: June 15 Late Deadline: August 1 |
*First-year applications received after Feb. 1 are considered Late Decision.
Please note the posted deadlines are for students enrolling for Fall 2026-2027.

Apply to TLU as a First-Year Student if you:
- are a high school senior
- have never attended college, but you have graduated high school or earned your GED (dual credit does not count)
Apply to TLU as a Transfer Student if you:
- have completed any college coursework following high school graduation or GED completion
Apply to TLU as an International Student if you:
- are a citizen of a country other than the United States who has, or will need, a nonimmigrant visa to study at the university
