Professor Amelia Koford will facilitate a discussion of the ways people engage with Barbie as a cultural artifact. Attendees will use DIY crafting supplies to modify Barbie and Ken dolls to make them “weird.” Dolls will be provided to the first 12 RSVPs on Connect@TLU, or attendees can bring their own.

TLU celebrates the individuals, who throughout history, have been instrumental in telling the story of what it means to be a woman in our world. Across careers, religions, cultures, and varying experiences, we honor the women who have shaped history. Several events are scheduled on campus and more will be added throughout the month of March.
