Performing Arts Info Sessions & Virtual Auditions

TLU offers performing arts scholarships for Music and Dramatic Media majors and non-majors that are awarded in addition to a student's academic scholarship.

The TLU School of Music provides artistic recognition for outstanding musical performance to students who plan to major in music education, music performance or a more general music degree or are interested in participating in a performance ensemble such as choir, band, or orchestra. Music and Theatre scholarships range from up to $7,500 a year for majors and up to $3,000 a year for non-majors (on top of any academic scholarship awarded).



In-Person Music Auditions: Complete and submit the music audition application to secure your audition date and time. Auditions, along with a personal interview, are held in person (10-minute time slots) between 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Nov. 13, 2021Feb. 19, 2022Jan. 22, 2022March 26, 2022April 9, 2022


Virtual Music Auditions: Students choosing to audition virtually will complete the audition and interview in a two-part process.

  • A personal interview will be held virtually via Zoom (10-minute time slots) between noon and 1 p.m. on the audition dates.
  • Students should upload their audition to their Google drive or other cloud storage or post your video on YouTube as an unlisted video. Email the link to Prof. Beth Bronk at bbronk@tlu.edu. It is preferred that the link for the audition is sent prior to the virtual interview, however auditions will be accepted after the virtual interview.
