Texas Lutheran University (TLU) is a “Best in the West” selection in The Princeton Review’s “2023 Best Colleges: Region by Region” web feature. With 655 colleges represented across five zones—Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and International—TLU is among only 126 Western universities considered to be academically outstanding and well worth consideration in a college search. Strong ratings in academic excellence and campus life ratings from current students place TLU in elite this group.
Using numerical scores on a scale of 60–99, the ratings are reported in several categories, including Academics, Admissions, Financial Aid, Campus Life, and Safety. These results are primarily based upon surveys of university administrators at schools who provide The Princeton Review with institutional data. Student survey responses are also used to assess which colleges make the list.
