Name: Sabrina Martinez

Plans for After Graduation: I will hopefully be attending Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth this coming fall where I will be working toward my Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry, specializing in Social Transformation. My goals are to serve in urban/social justice ministries, working to assist marginalized communities, specifically the unhoused. I would also love to pursue a Master of Social Work in the future.

Favorite Thing About Campus Ministry: My favorite thing about Campus Ministry is seeing the community come together for weekly chapel. It is amazing to see the diversity. From students, staff, faculty, and friends of TLU, everyone is invited to spend 20 minutes away from the stresses of everyday life. The ministry we have on campus is truly a welcoming place for all. Although I won’t be here to see Campus Ministry continuing to flourish, I hope we can expand our roles with a Campus Ministry Leadership Team. The team would invite people from all corners of campus to have a special hand in creating a culture of compassion, community, and belonging.
