John D. Roalson of Katy, TX will join the staff of Lutheran Foundation of the Southwest effective May 1, 2023.

Roalson will serve as the gift planner for the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod, following the retirement of current gift planner Dr. Lizbeth Johnson. Roalson previously served as a representative with American Funds Distributors.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas Lutheran University.

He and his wife, Paula, are members of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, TX. They have two adult daughters, Hannah and Abby.
