TLU is kicking off Women’s History month with a screening of the film, Sally!, which chronicles the story of former TLU professor and LGBTQ trailblazer Dr. Sally Gearhart. The film viewing, which is intended for mature audiences, will be followed by conversation about Sally’s life and legacy with one of the directors and several participants from the film. It takes place on March 4 at 7 p.m. in Wupperman Little Theatre in the Schuech Fine Arts Center and is sponsored by the Jessie S. and Jack Harold Upton Brown Cultural Enrichment Endowment Fund, the TLU Blumberg Memorial Library, and the university’s Department of History, Composition Program, and Women's and Gender Studies Program.
