TLU’s 14th Annual Student Academic Symposium Set for April 18-19

Every spring as the academic year wraps up, graduating seniors look back over all they’ve learned in their time at TLU and create one final culminating presentation. The presentations, which run across all disciplines, result in the annual Student Academic Symposium—a celebration of research, learning, hard work, and creativity. This year marks the fourteenth symposium, which will begin early in the day on Thursday, April 18 and run through the end of Friday, April 19.

There are no classes during SAS, so that students and faculty alike are free to participate, both as presenters and as spectators. The symposium will be taking place at various locations around campus, with presentations happening concurrently in different places. In addition, there will be poster presentations in the Alumni Student Center during the lunch hour. Attendees can navigate the event by referencing the schedule, available here.

TLU SAS is a beloved tradition, when the community sets aside its usual schedule to step back, pause, acknowledge peers and colleagues, and remember the joy of learning new things.
