The Lutheran Foundation of the Southwest (LFSW) has once again made their annual check presentation to Texas Lutheran University, this year totaling $224,495.82. This gift will make a large and positive impact on the entire university and is distributed from endowment funds and other legacy instruments that benefit the university.

LFSW was founded In Austin in 1979 by Lutheran visionary lay leaders and four sponsoring organizations, including TLU, as a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation of the State of Texas. The foundation was also started as a Christian foundation with stewardship principles supporting the organization of Lutheran sponsoring organizations.
