TLU students have spoken, and the results are in. The 2025 Student Engagement Awards were announced on April 10. 

“The Student Engagement Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognize students and student organizations for their hard work and dedication throughout the academic year,” says TLU Director of Student Engagement Tiffany Espinoza. “I’m thrilled for the winners of these fifteen awards—they’ve shown tremendous perseverance and commitment. All the nominees were incredible, and I believe the committee did an outstanding job selecting the recipients.”

Student Organization Officer of the Year – Michelle Lopez

Student Organization Member of the Year – Sophie Salgado

Student Worker of the Year – Logan Randall

Student Organization Advisor of the Year – Annette Roecker

Best Social Media Campaign -Xi Tau Sorority

Staff Member of the Year – Kyle Wych

Faculty Member of the Year – Dr. Amanda Kaminski

Greek Week Champion – Beta Alpha Sigma

The Spirit of the Bulldog Award- Linzee Leal

Outstanding Servant Leadership Award – Michaela McLean

Outstanding Service-Learning Student Organization Award - MOVE Texas

Civic Engagement and Advocacy Award - MOVE Texas

Innovative and Sustainable Service-Learning Project Award – Water to Thrive

The TLU Student Engagement Awards were created to recognize student organizations and their outstanding officers and members, as well as staff and faculty who help support those organizations. A big round of applause for all the winners!
