As part of the Seguin and Greater San Antonio communities, Texas Lutheran University is always looking for ways to give back. The Big Give is South Central Texas' 24-hour online day of giving fueled by the power of generous donors, creative nonprofits, social media, collaboration, and you.

This past year our faculty, staff, and students put in more than 15,000 hours of community service. According to the IRS, that amount of service hours is worth more than $350,000! The goal of Big Give is to support nonprofits in our region, like TLU, that are committed to making South Central Texas a great place to live, work, and play. Our students, professors, and staff continuously dedicate themselves to our community. Not only does TLU provide free, local services like computer courses and a tax preparation clinic, we host countless concerts, performances, and special guests—like film legend Rita Moreno and actress Diane Guerrero—that are open to the public.

Giving to TLU can be designated to any fund, program, specific need, or the Annual Scholarship Fund. A majority of our students receive financial aid in some form, and making a donation to the Annual Scholarship Fund is a great way to help with future generations of TLU Bulldogs. More information on the various giving programs can be found at To give to TLU through the Big Give, visit and search for "TLU" or GIVE NOW using our secure online giving platform.
