St. Peter's Lutheran Church TLU Choir Concert

This year's choir tour program includes works by numerous women composers, including Nadia Boulanger, B.E. Voykin, Margaret Bonds, Susan LaBarr, and Elaine Hagenberg. Ten works out of the 17 being performed are by women composers. The choral works of Margaret Bonds (1913-1972) were largely not published during her lifetime and have only found publication recently through the collaboration of the family of Margaret Bonds, musicologist John Michael Cooper, the manuscript library at Yale University, and the Hildegard Publishing House.
