TLU Ranks in Top Ten Texas Nursing Programs

We’re proud to share that Nurse.org recently named Texas Lutheran University as one of the top ten Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) programs in Texas.

“This recognition highlights the strength of our program and the success of our graduates,” said TLU Director of Nursing Dr. Ruth Eby. “TLU nursing graduates are in high demand. Employers know they’re hiring professionals with exceptional clinical training, strong critical thinking skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Our accredited programs don’t just teach nursing, they foster confident, capable leaders ready to make an impact.”

Designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s or associate degree or have sixty-four college credits, the ABSN program allows students to earn their BSN in as little as sixteen months. With small class sizes, expert faculty, and hands-on clinical experiences, students receive the focused, high-quality education they need to thrive.

Graduates are fully prepared to take the NCLEX-RN, the national licensing exam for registered nurses, and begin working in a wide range of healthcare settings. TLU nursing students consistently outperform the national average on first-time pass rates, a testament to the strength of the program.

TLU offers the accelerated BSN and direct-entry MSN programs at its New Braunfels and Houston campuses, and a traditional BSN program at the Seguin campus.
