Assistant Professor in Management

The Business Administration Department at Texas Lutheran University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in management to start Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching classes in our undergraduate and graduate programs with the ability to teach in person, online, and/or hybrid environments.  The position begins August 2026. A high priority will be given to candidates with teaching experience, evidence of teaching success, and a research agenda. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or business-related field
  • Interest in teaching a wide variety of business and management courses
  • Willingness to engage in online teaching
  • Commitment to excellence in the teaching and advisement of undergraduate and graduate students
  • Understand and support the mission of Texas Lutheran University

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collegially with other faculty members in the department and across campus
  • Willingness to engage collaboratively in curriculum development for the Department
  • Experience in advising business students

Department Overview:

The mission of the Department of Business Administration is to provide innovative, ethical, experiential, interdisciplinary, and integrated undergraduate and graduate programs for students who are well grounded in the liberal arts. Our objective is to produce interculturally aware, ethical, and technologically skilled graduates who think critically, communicate effectively, and understand business as a combination of theoretical concepts and real-world practice.
