Online Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Opportunities for Texas Teachers

SEGUIN – The Center for Professional Development at Texas Lutheran University is an approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Provider for the State of Texas (# 501514).
The Center offers CPE through other departments across the university as well as courses offered through the Center.
Each of the 30-online courses for teaching professionals offered in partnership with ed2go is composed of six modules, and each module takes approximately four hours to complete. Teachers receive a certificate noting 24 CPE hours for each ed2go course. Each course comes complete with an online classroom. You will be able to use your web browser to access the online classroom and obtain your course material and communicate with your instructor. Most TLU – ed2go courses cost $100-$125. Among the topics included in the courses are classroom discipline and management, differentiated instruction, reading and writing, teaching in the content areas, Microsoft applications for teachers and students, and many more.

Courses from this partner do not earn TLU college credit nor qualify for financial aid through TLU.
