TLU Joins College Presidents for Civic Preparedness

That’s why TLU has joined College Presidents for Civic Preparedness, a coalition of more than 125 universities committed to teaching students to live in a diverse society that defends free inquiry and values listening, learning, and responding thoughtfully through open dialogue.

Top Ten: Texas Lutheran University Once Again Ranked by U.S. News

TLU Presents the Fall 2026 Brown Event Featuring Olympian Elana Meyers Taylor

The community is invited to TLU on September 15 for the fall Brown Event, featuring a talk by Elana Meyers Taylor, the most decorated female Olympic bobsledder and the most decorated Black winter Olympian of all time. She’ll talk about overcoming obstacles, staying motivated, and believing in yourself. The event begins at 7 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

There’s a new pathway between Seguin and San Antonio, thanks to a formal agreement between Texas Lutheran University and the St. Mary’s University School of Law. The two institutions are working together to help TLU graduates map their course to law school—and in turn, to bring exceptional students to St. Mary’s Law.
