The votes are in; the community has spoken. Every year, the Seguin Gazette invites its readers to choose the Best of the Best in various categories—everything from who serves up the best pizza to the best barber shop to the best dentist in the area. 

There are also myriad categories within the realm of education, from daycare centers and preschools all the way through college. TLU is proud to announce that at this year’s Best of the Best Gala, the university was awarded best Higher Education Campus. In addition, TLU professors took top spots in the Best College Professor category. Math Professor Cathy Beicker won first place, and Dramatic Media Professor Shannon Ivey came in second.

We already knew TLU and its outstanding professors were the best—but it’s always nice to hear that others think so, too. Congrats to all!
