Venue: Texas Lutheran University
Theme: Engaged Learning for a Changing World
Engaged Learning for a Changing World recognizes that traditional approaches to education are no longer sufficient in a rapidly evolving global landscape shaped by technological innovation, artificial intelligence, workforce transformation, and complex societal challenges. To prepare learners for success, education must move beyond passive knowledge transmission and embrace active, meaningful, and experiential learning that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, adaptability, and ethical decision-making. Engaged learning places students at the center of educational experience, connecting academic content to real-world problems and encouraging participation, reflection, and innovation.
