TLU’s capital campaign, Ignite What’s Next, officially entered its public phase with a celebration on May 14, 2026, and is expected to run through 2028, raising over $80 million to support the university.
This year, there was something new to celebrate at spring graduation: the first cohort of doctorate-level students in the university’s history.
Each semester, students participating in the Big Dog Endowment program divide into teams and do extensive research on worthy causes around the world. Their goal: to figure out where funds channeled from the endowment can have the biggest positive impact.
For the first time since 2022—and the fourth time ever—TLU will be hosting a regional softball tournament.
May 9 marks Texas Lutheran University’s 135th annual graduation ceremony, when 190 students will be receiving their degrees!
