The Office for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships works across all areas of the University to advance TLU’s strategic initiatives in pursuit of our mission. The office provides dedicated leadership for strategic planning, partnerships, innovation, initiatives for growth, and assessment of strategic efforts. Fostering a culture of innovation for the University resulting in effective outcomes that strengthen and enhance TLU students, faculty and staff, the University, and the community.
The Office for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships include the VP for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships, Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness, and the Office of Career Development and Scholars.
Institutional Research and Effectiveness
The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness exists to provide TLU faculty, staff, and students with institutional data and information needed for research, policy development, and decision-making. In addition, it complies and submits institutional data and information to federal and state agencies, accrediting bodies, and several higher education consortia. It also provides guidance and support for the evaluation and continuous improvement of TLU programs and services.

Career Development
The Office of Career Development empowers students to explore career pathways, gain professional experience, and confidently prepare for life after graduation. Through personalized career coaching, resume and cover letter support, interview preparation, internship and job search assistance, networking opportunities, and employer connections. The office equips students with the skills and resources needed to achieve their academic and professional goals.

- To ensure a strong future, TLU’s depends on our decisive ability to identify and implement new academic and revenue-generating programs, while making necessary adjustments to strengthen existing ones. Through the Innovation, Growth, and Prioritization group, TLU has a clear and consistent process for implementing innovative ideas, managing growth for needed revenue, and planning for needed prioritization to best manage resources and capacity. The Innovation, Growth, and Partnership group manages new academic and other revenue generating ideas as well as current academic and other revenue generating programs to ensure the success of TLU.
