Available Programs:

Online Course for the Instructors

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides training for online/blended/hybrid instructors, including continuity of instructional support. The online instruction course addresses how to develop a consistently welcoming and inclusive environment; establish methods of communication among instructor, student, and peers based on Community of Inquiry Theory (CoI); design effective interfaces and assignments; collaborate inclusive of multiple modalities; ensure accessibility in the course interface and content that is in compliance with state and federal law; includes but is not limited to accompanying all videos with transcripts or closed-captions, and making documents and interfaces that work well with assistive technologies.  

Faculty & Staff Learning Communities (Reading/Discussion Groups)
 

This program provides opportunities for small groups of faculty and staff to meet and discuss shared readings on pedagogy related topics of interest.

CTL Grants for Pedagogy Research and Applications

Pedagogy research and application grants are competitive grants that support faculty efforts doing pedagogy research (up to $5,000) or integrating new pedagogy approaches to courses already in place ($1,000). These grants encourage faculty efforts toward pedagogy enhancement and future conference presentations and publication.
