Texas Lutheran University (TLU) is a “Best in the West” selection in The Princeton Review’s “2021 Best Colleges: Region by Region” web feature. With 655 colleges represented in five zones—Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and International—TLU is among just 127 Western colleges considered to be academically outstanding and well worth consideration in a college search.
Using numerical scores on a scale of 60–99, the ratings are reported in several categories, including Academics, Admissions, Financial Aid, Campus Life, and Safety. These results are primarily based upon surveys of university administrators at schools who provide The Princeton Review with institutional data. Student survey responses are also taken into account.
Since 1981, The Princeton Review has been an education services tool committed to helping college-bound students through test-preparation services, tutoring and admissions resources, as well as through online courses and resources and print and digital books.
