Texas Lutheran University's Choir Program and Community Music Academy will join Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the renowned Noche De Gala Mariachi Singers Competition on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 7 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium.
This year will include performances by Mariachi Las Alteñas, Mariachi Azteca de América, and vocalista winners: Alexander Ramirez, Brooke Talk, Deborah Ramirez, and Alfredo Mendez. A special community collaboration with the TLU Choir and Community Music Academy Choirs, along with the Adult Ballet Folklorico De La Rosa, will perform a special rendition of "Cielito Lindo."
General admission tickets to Noche de Gala presale and at the door are $10; tickets are on sale at the following locations in Seguin:

- Superior Cakes & Bakery (1400 N. Austin St.)
- Seguin Chamber of Commerce (116 N. Camp St.)
- Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin Cultural Center (921 W. New Braunfels St.)
Reserved seats ($12) are only available at the Teatro de Artes located at 921 W. New Braunfels St. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone and will be placed in Will Call. If patrons would like to pick up tickets in person at Teatro, hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1982; its mission is to promote the Mexican American arts. Proceeds from Noche de Gala are used to fund the organization’s programs, most of which provide activities for children and youth.
