Physics Major’s Research Chosen for Posters On The Hill

Senior Physics Major Emily Churchman's research, "Characterization of ParTI Phoswiches Using Charged Pion Beams," will be featured at the 23rd Annual Posters on the Hill event on April 29-30 in Washington, D.C. Her poster is just one of 60 submissions that will be displayed out of more than 350 competitive applications received.

Each spring, the Council on Undergraduate Research hosts an annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. At this event and its related activities, members of Congress and their staff members learn about the importance of undergraduate research through talking directly with the student researchers involved in these programs.
