The livestream event features the following:

  • Welcome message from TLU’s President Dr. Debbie Cottrell.
  • Introduction of the TLU Admissions team so you’ll get to know the admissions representative who will be working with you throughout the enrollment process.
  • A conversation with current students so you can hear first-hand what it’s like live and learn on our campus.
  • Meet some of our professors and learn more about our academic programs as well as the opportunities for faculty-student research, internships, and what some of our alumni are doing after they leave TLU.

After the event livestream, you will be invited to view a special behind the scenes look at new digital content developed just for prospective students.

Bulldog Basics: An Event for Enrolling Students

When: July 9 and July 30, 2021

In July, we host Bulldog Basics for students who have been accepted and have paid their enrollment deposit. At Bulldog Basics, we have staff from Admissions, the Registrar's office, Student Financial Services, and Student Accounts review everything students need to know and do before move-in day.

We also introduce the summer Freshman Experience (FREX) project. Students and their families enjoy lunch on campus and may attend optional afternoon sessions for various academic programs as well as information on academic advising, athletics, dining services, and campus safety. Bulldog Basics is optional and there are two sessions to choose from.
