Non-Tenure Track, Adjunct Nursing Clinical Faculty

The Department of Nursing at Texas Lutheran University is seeking applicants for non-tenure track, adjunct nursing clinical faculty in specialty areas of medical/surgical, maternal/child, and critical care nursing.

Candidates should hold a Master's in Nursing from an accredited nursing program; have at least three years clinical experience in their specialty area; and, show evidence of excellent clinical and communication skills. Earned doctorate, teaching experience in baccalaureate nursing program and advanced certification in specialty preferred.

Clinical faculty will directly supervise students in the BSN program in various healthcare facilities and participate in various laboratory/simulation/classroom experiences as coordinated by lead course faculty. As appropriate to individual contracts, clinical faculty will be expected to be involved in service to the university, the community and the profession.

Prior to any appointment, candidates will be asked to provide official college transcripts, evidence of appropriate immunizations, and current RN licensure, certifications (if applicable), CPR and PPD.
