Texas Lutheran University invites applications for the position of Assistant Registrar – Systems. This position is an integral part of the Registrar’s Office team and will assist with important initiatives involving our student information system, Jenzabar EX, to include degree audit, data integrity, reporting, and schedule creation. This position will help to improve the efficiency of our office and improve the quality of service the Registrar’s Office is able to provide to both students and faculty across campus. This full-time position reports directly to the Registrar.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the university’s degree audit system
  • Assist with student data reporting
  • Create National Student Clearinghouse reports
  • Maintain the integrity of data included in student academic records
  • Assist with creation of the student schedule of classes
  • Understand and support the mission of Texas Lutheran University

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience working with students, working in a university setting, and working with Jenzabar EX are all preferred
  • Must be comfortable working with relational databases, student information systems, and other technology solutions such as database querying tools, document imaging, and dynamic academic catalogs
  • Must be comfortable working in a team environment and frequently interacting with other staff, students, parents, and faculty
  • Must be comfortable speaking publicly to groups of students and faculty
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
