Ballroom Dance Society

The TLU Ballroom Dance Society is a new club promoting ballroom dancing at Texas Lutheran University. We emphasize the artistic expression of social and competitive ballroom dancing. Membership is open to TLU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the general public.

Class Schedule

• Wednesday (Ballroom) 8-9 p.m.
• Sunday (Swing) 8-9 p.m.

 
Each class is follwed by a practice session from 9-10 p.m.
All classes are held in Jones Complex 103.
 
Semester Dues

• TLU students, faculty and staff: $10
• non-TLU students: $15
• All others: $25

 
The Society does not charge on a "per-class" basis. Pay once and attend all classes throughout the semester. You can join anytime during the semester.
 
Partners
No partner is necessary. Members will rotate in the classes.

Attire

• Casual to dressy attire is encouraged at all classes.
• For shoes, wear that you can easily dance in, such as leather - no flip-flops, rubber soles or heels without protection.
