Diversity Organizations
Black Student Union The BSU (Black Student Union) is responsible for increasing awareness of African-American culture on Texas Lutheran University's campus. As a service organization, BSU provides community service programs to the Seguin community. Examples include: serving as mentors to Seguin High School students, visiting nursing facilities and sponsoring Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas dinners to needy families. Current projects also include a BSU Alumni reunion during Homecoming. We are in the process of planning and coordinating a Dr. Martin Luther King celebration, Black History Month and The BSU Talent Show. BSU also plans and coordinates activities for Dr. Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month. Our motto is, "United we Stand."
