What to Bring
To make the most efficient use of available space, students are encouraged to contact their roommate before arriving on campus to determine what items may or may not be shared. Residents provide their own bedding and personal items.
The following items are recommended:

Students are not permitted to bring any of the following items: - Candles or incense
- Halogen lamps
- Space Heater
- Toasters, toaster ovens, hot plates, electric grills, or anything with an open heating element
- Pets (except fish in an aquarium 10 gallons or smaller)
- Weapons of any kind
- Alcohol (including full or empty decorative bottles or caps)
- Drugs and/or paraphernalia
Students are invited to personalize their living space and make it their home. Painting rooms is prohibited, and all TLU furnishings must remain in the designated rooms/apartments. Students should utilize Command products by 3M for decorating purposes. Used according to directions, these products will not damage or mar wall and furniture surfaces. Items which may potentially damage or mark surfaces are not permitted. Such items may include, but are not limited to: nails, tacks, screws, bolts, pins, brackets, foam tape, scotch tape, packing/duct/electrical tape, putty, and/or mounting adhesive.
