- H.O.T. DAWGS Service Project
Each year during Welcome Week, TLU students get their hands dirty to improve their new community. H.O.T. Dawgs stands for Helping Others Together. At least 10 different projects are planned for each time slot. All projects - whether on campus or within walking distance- will begin with a brief orientation at the Center for Servant Leadership.

- Movie Night
Ever heard of a Drive-In Movie? How about a Dive-In Movie? Come splash around and watch a movie while floating in the pool. Free food!

- Commuter and Transfer Student Social
Driving back and forth to classes and transitioning to a new institution can bring their own unique challenges. This event is a great way to meet other commuter and transfer students and learn more about the services offered to those who live off campus and those who have made a successful transition to TLU. You don't want to miss out on FREE pizza and a chance to meet your Transfer and Commuter Peer Mentor!

- Beach Volleyball Tournament
Think you have what it takes to be a champion? Come out to the campus-wide beach volleyball tournament. Each team will consist of two men and two women who will compete for fantastic first place prizes!

Meet members of BSU (Black Student Union), Alpha Phi Alpha, and MASA (Mexican American Student Association) and Global Student Organization (GSO) to find out more about their mission and activities. Also learn about the multicultural programming that will be occurring throughout the year.
