Campus Life
Learning doesn’t stop when the student leaves the classroom. Campus life at TLU is an encompassing experience to develop the whole person – academically, spiritually, and socially.
The tree-lined campus provides a safe and welcoming environment where you can reach your classes, Hein Dining Hall or the fitness center quickly. Enjoy hanging out at the Alumni Student Center (ASC), playing Ultimate Frisbee on the Chapel Lawn, or talking in the hammocks next to the Center for Servant Leadership.
Two-thirds of students live on campus, learning, playing, and maturing in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. TLU offers a variety of living configurations in its seven residence halls and four different on-campus apartment complexes.
There is a sense of community at TLU. Whether your interests are sports, the arts, social, or service, there is a place for you at TLU. There are dozens of organizations on campus – if a club or organization that meets your interests doesn’t exist, you are encouraged to start a new one!
Nearly one-third of the student body participates in one of the 14 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III teams that TLU fields. There is also an active campus recreation program with many intramural sports, weekend tournament, and even an annual Polar Bulldog Swim Party.
