Campus Ministry and Religious Organizations
Campus Ministry
TLU's Campus Ministry provides a focal point for the community of faith where students:
- Proclaim Christ in Word, encounter Christ in Sacrament and experience Christ in a relationship
- Are able to learn in conversation with what they believe and value
- Witness to the reconciling Word of God in Christ, reaching out to all people
- Respond to human need, work for peace and justice and care for the sick and suffering
- Find people in a supportive experience of community
- Welcome one another warmly, no matter what faith, tradition, nationality, race or denomination
- Seek sensitive, personal and confidential pastoral care
- Join in praise and worship, exploring the rich liturgical Christian worship tradition
For more information, come by the campus ministry office located in the Center for Servant Leadership or visit the

Catholic Student Organization Meeting: Weekly, every Monday night
Although a Lutheran school, TLU encourages organizations such as the Catholic Student Organization (CSO) to help all students grow in their faith. The purpose of CSO is to promote, build and serve the developing TLU Catholic community through religious, educational and social activities, so that its members may take an active role in the Church and society as members of an informed and responsible laity. Among CSO events are weekly meetings and discussions, service projects, family masses, and bimonthly masses on campus. We hope that you consider joining us as we live out our motto, "Called to Serve Others."
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) The mission of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is "to present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church." In order to best define the people God has given FCA to serve through its program, participants are to be past or present members of recognized school athletic teams or athletes who are involved either on an intercollegiate or intramural team.
