Selecting the right meal plan is based on many factors like your class and work schedule, practice/rehearsals, how often you plan to travel during weekends, and what time you wake up. Students living in the residence halls must select between the A, B, and C plans and those living in apartments can select A, B, C, D, or elect to not have a meal plan.
*Plan D is only available to TLU apartment residents, commuters, as well as faculty and staff.
Student may change the selected meal plan without penalty during the first week of classes each semester. No changes may be made in meal plans after the first week is complete. All meal plan changes must be made through the Meal Plan Change form. The Meal Plan Change form is located on MyTLU under the Residence Life forms tab. Notices submitted to offices other than Residence Life will not be recognized and/or honored.
DINING DOLLARS VS. BULLDOG BUCKS
Each meal plan comes with Dining Dollars, with the amount varying based on the plan you select. Dining Dollars can be used by scanning your student ID card at any of the campus dining locations. They are purchased on a semester to semester basis and must be used within that term as they will not rollover.
Bulldog Bucks can also be used at any of the campus dining locations, but may also be used at the campus bookstore, post office, and for making copies across campus. These must be purchased at the Business Office and they do rollover from semester to semester.
