How does this scholarship work?
We take the cost of attendance (COA) at TLU, subtract the COA at Texas A&M-College Station or UT-Austin and give you the CHOICE scholarship, equal to the difference!
Who is eligible for a CHOICE scholarship?
Any first-time, full-time freshman or transfer student accepted to either Texas A&M-College Station or UT-Austin, and TLU.
What’s the deadline?
FRESHMEN: Before May 1 (for Fall)
TRANSFERS: Before June 1 (for Fall); Dec. 1 (for Spring)
Is it too late to apply to TLU?
Since TLU operates on a rolling admissions policy, it may not be too late to apply. | | If I qualify for the TLU CHOICE Scholarship, can I still receive Financial Aid?
Yes, but you have to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Then you will be awarded any additional state or federal aid for which you are eligible.
Is the scholarship renewable?
The CHOICE scholarship is renewable for an additional three years for freshmen and an additional two years for transfer students, as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0. |
