- WTS International (Heart ot Texas Chapter) Scholarships - These scholarships are for females pursuing a career in transportation, ranging from undergraduate students to graduate students. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $2,000. Deadline: November 10, 2008
- Texas Social Studies Supervisors Association Ann Rogers Scholarship - $1,000 available to student teachers doing their student teaching internship in social studies in the state of Texas. Deadline: December 1, 2008
- CampusDiscovery.com Essay Scholarship - $10,000 available to US citizens or legal residents currently seeking an undergraduate degree or has graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2007 or 2008. Students must have completed at least one year of studies at his/her school and must be a full-time student. Deadline: January 15, 2009
- Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation's Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship - Full tuition, fees, living stipend, books, paid travel, paid summer internships in Washington and overseas. Available to college sophomores from all ethnic and social backgrounds with a CGPA or 3.2 or higher. Candidates must be interested in becoming Foreign Service Officers in the U.S. Department of State. Deadline: February 6, 2009
- Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Scholarships - $1,000 to $5,000 available to IMA student members studying accounting or finance. Deadline: February 15, 2009
- Irene S. Wischer Education Foundation Scholarship - Up to $10,000 annually to students who are U.S. Citizens and Texas residents. Applicants should also demonstrate good character, financial need and academic potential and ability. Deadline: March 31, 2009
- Abbott and Fenner Scholarship - $1,000 available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution, between the ages of 16 and 30. Deadline: June 20, 2009
