Scholarships and Financial Aid

Texas Lutheran University is an affordable option when you are deciding where to apply to college. Private universities have many more scholarship and financial aid opportunities than the large public universities.

After scholarships and financial aid, TLU’s cost is less than many private schools and comparable to many of the state schools. Approximately 95 percent of TLU students receive financial assistance, and the average aid package in 2006-2007 was $15,142 (scholarships, grants and loans).

If attending TLU, an excellent private university with small class sizes and individual attention, is important to you, don’t let cost be a deterrent. Apply, and after you are accepted and have your complete financial aid package, you can then make comparisons and decide which college is best for you.
