When choosing where to apply, there's a lot to take into consideration like class size, location, quality of faculty, and strong academic programs. Visit the campus, and we'll be glad to show you why TLU scores top marks in these fields. At TLU, class sizes are small to provide students with a personalized education - we take the same philosophy into our visit programs, and are able offer many ways for you to experience our campus.

Schedule an Individual Campus Visit

The TLU Office of Admissions is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.  Tours are offered Monday through Friday.
In addition to a campus tour and meeting with your admissions representative, we encourage you to consider the following:

• Attend a class (during Fall and Spring semesters)
  
• Meet with a professor or current student in your area of interest
• Attend Chapel (held MWF 10:00 a.m. during Fall and Spring semesters)
• Meet with a coach
• Enjoy lunch on campus with a TLU student

2008-2009 Visit Events

We also have various campus visit day programs throughout the year - these are great ways to see the campus and get a broad overview of all that TLU has to offer (more information listed below).  Each visit day highlights a different part of the TLU experience and includes a campus tour and general admissions and financial aid information session.  Remaining visit days this year include:

Visit Events have concluded forthe 2008-2009 school year.  However, we encourage you to schedule an individual visit over your summer break to tour the campus, or meet with an admissions representative about your opportunities at Texas Lutheran!  Or - check out one of our many summer programs hosted at TLU like:

July 19 - August 1 - Lone Star Scholars Academy

This summer program is a great opportunity to get an in-depth look at the college experience.  During these two weeks students take two college level courses, live in a residence hall, and participate in evening activities and a community service project.  While it's not a traditional visit day, LSSA offers students the ability to "try on" college before their senior year!
