Reserve your Webinar seat now by clicking here      Date: Wednesday, March 20, 2013   Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CDT    Dr. John McClusky graduated from TLU (then TLC) in 1983 with a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He earned his PhD from Yale University in 1988, and after a post-doctoral appointment at the University of Colorado, joined Dow Chemical Company as a research scientist.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He joined the chemistry faculty at the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1994, and moved to TLU in 2001.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; He has been an avid amateur astronomer since building his first telescope in college.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;He has discovered over 150 minor planets (asteroids) and is among the top 75 discoverers of these bodies.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;More recently he has made tens of thousands of observations of variable stars, and identified two rare dual-mode RR-Lyrae variable stars.

Friday night activities include live theater performances at the Texas Lutheran University, the Aumont Hotel, and the Texas Theater, and music by Tin Roof at Austin Street Live with donations supporting the Seguin Commission on the Arts.   Saturday activities between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. include live music performances at the Bandstand in Central Park, children&rsquo;s art activities, art sales, exhibits and demonstrations in the park, Trade Days, Zumba, Color Me Nutty 5K Run, artist talk stage at the Aumont Hotel, kids talent show, a fundraiser for Teatro de Artes de Juan Seguin, and a ticketed ($10 at the door) Pachanga del Arte evening at the Texas Theater where local artists will showcase their artwork. Strings Camp runs from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and Vocal Arts Camp runs from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Lunch and a camp discount will be provided to students who participate in both camps. Family discounts are also available. Summer 2013 private lessons are also available in violin, viola and cello. Registration Deadline is July 25.
