Samuel M. Stahl
Senior Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Beth-El in San Antonio and author of Making the Timeless Timely: Thoughts and Reflections of a Contemporary Reform Rabbi and, most recently, of Boundaries, Not Barriers: Some Uniquely Jewish Perspectives on Life.
Among his many honors, Rabbi/Dr. Stahl is the recipient of the Distinguished Community Service Award, granted by the Texas Lutheran University Boardof Regents in recognition of Dr. Stahl’s extensive community service in theSan Antonio and South Central Texas area and in appreciation for his annual Jewish Chautauqua Society Lectures and Samuel M. Stahl Lectures during each of the past 36 years.
