National Day on Writing at TLU
Wednesday, October 17, 2012
11:30 AM
Location: Alumni Student Center
Be curious. Be creative. Be concise. To commemorate the National Day on Writing, a day in which we recognize the important role that writing plays in all our lives, the Composition Program and the Office of Academic Support Services invite you to share your life story in six words. Starting at 11:30am on Wednesday, October 17 outside the Alumni Student Center (ASC), students, faculty, staff, and members of the community are encouraged to write their six word memoirs on the sidewalk, on large pieces of paper inside the ASC, or on cards that will be displayed on the windows. Come by to share your memoir and to read what others have written. Let’s see what happens when our community comes together to share stories of who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going.

Free pens will be given to those who share their six-word memoirs. We hope to see you there!
