TLU Offers Free Beginning Computer Classes to Community

SEGUIN, TX – January 27, 2012 - During the months of February and April, Texas Lutheran University (TLU) students and a TLU computer science faculty member will be on hand to teach basic computer literacy to the community. The classes will provide opportunities for community members to ask for and receive assistance on a variety of topics, including e-mail, Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, social media sites, and computer security.
The free classes are open to anyone who is interested in learning beginning level computer skills. There is no need to register or reserve a space and anyone is welcome to attend one or all of the classes offered.
February 15, 22, and 29 (Wednesdays) from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
April 3, 10, and 17 (Tuesdays) from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Beck Building on TLU’s campus. Beck is the main TLU administrative building located in the southeast corner of campus at the intersection of Prexy and Court Streets. Classroom LL05 is located in the basement of the building.
