The Texas Lutheran University Symphonic Winds and Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Beth Bronk, assistant professor, School of Music, will present a concert “Blue Shades” Sunday, March 9 at 4 p.m. in Jackson Auditorium on the TLU campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

2008 Women’s Forum – Four panelists in high-powered positions will discuss their career challenges and experiences during the TLU 2008 Women’s Forum:  Flourishing in a Competitive World.  The Women’s Forum, which will be held 4-6 p.m., Thursday, March 27, in the Dunne Conference Center, is free and open to all TLU students, alumni, and faculty and staff.

Participating on the panel will be Cynthia (Brantley) Beverly’ 75, business executive in the technology industry; Paula DiFonzo, CEO, New Braunfels Utilities; Angela Laird, Ph.D., assistant professor at the Research Imaging Center at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio; and Robin Melvin ’79, Austin attorney, a member of 2008 Best Lawyers in America® in water law, and a member of the TLU Board of Regents.  For more information, click here.
