TLU Today
U-CAN – TLU is joining hundreds of other private institutions of higher education in a new Web-based project called U-CAN (University and College Accountability Network), a national initiative to provide comprehensive, concise, consumer-friendly information about private colleges.
Sponsored by the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), the U-CAN site will provide free online access to objective, accurate, and measurable data to students, their families, and the public at large. The U-CAN site is available at
www.ucan-network.org.
“Through the initiative, TLU will work with other colleges and universities to offer high school students the information they need to narrow the scope of choices and visit campuses. For the first time, everyone will be able to compare apples to apples to find schools with a good institutional fit,” said Norm Jones, vice president for enrollment services.
2nd Annual AALC – A group of distinguished speakers will discuss leadership and reflect on what it means to be an African American today at the second annual African American Leadership Conference, Oct. 19-20. All are invited and encouraged to attend this free event.
