The Texas Information Literacy Tutorial (TILT) increases your research skills so that you can more effectively select, search, and evaluate information sources. TILT contains three modules, each of which ends with a self-grading quiz that can be emailed to your professor:
  1. Selecting Information Sources (where to find them and how to choose the best ones for your research) - approximately 30 min. to complete
  2. Searching Library Databases and the Web (choosing and combining terms) - approximately 30 min. to complete
  3. Evaluating, Locating, and Citing Print and Electronic Sources - approximately 30 min. to complete

To change the Privacy ("cookie") settings in Internet Explorer 6.0:
  • Click "Tools"
  • Click "Internet Options"
  • Click "Privacy" tab
  • Move slider down to "Low" or "Accept All Cookies"
  • Click "Apply"
  • Click "OK"
  • After completing the TILT modules, change your "Privacy" setting as you prefer.
