What’s New?

  • CoLab (Collaboration Lab) in the Library

The library has a new resource for TLU groups collaborating on projects. The library's CoLab is immediately to your right as you exit the library (former location of Government Documents).  TLU students, faculty, and staff now have access to two PCs that are loaded with specialized multimedia software (Adobe and Microsoft) that can help to create and edit projects. Both PCs have a mike/headphone set for recording voice-overs or listening to sound.  One stand-alone PC is connected to two printers (a color laser printer and a color poster printer). A 5-person Group Table/LCD Screen can accommodate up to four bring-your-own laptops for collaborating on group presentations. The CoLab also has two "brainstorming" erase boards that can be used to separate groups.  The CoLab may be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Senior seminar posters from the Spring 2009 semester are posted around the CoLab. Help Desk and library personnel are available to assist patrons.
