Ask Angy & Don't Tell Anyone Angy Rivera, creator of Ask Angy the first advice column for undocumented youth in America will discuss her role as an outspoken advocate for immigrant educational rights and policy reform. She will also share clips of the documentary Don’t Tell Anyone/No le digas a nadie, which follows her journey as an immigrant living in the shadows of the U.S.

Simplemente Lara in this musical performance by José Rubén De León, the life and song of Agustin Lara, one of Mexico’s most talented artists of the 1930s and 40s, comes to the stage. De León, accompanied by jazz musicians George and Aaron Prado, trace the origins of the bolero and acknowledge the variety of musical styles brought to life in Lara’s compositions including jazz, ranchera, tango, waltz, and blues.

Round Rock Ballet Folklórico The Round Rock Ballet Folklórico (RRBF), a colorful event that will bring TLU and Seguin communities together through the amazing art of folklórico dance. The RRBF was founded by Yolanda Sanches in 1988. Sanchez has been an educator for more than 20 years and has been an instrumental in the development of many programs throughout the city. By strongly believing in what she does, she has been able to provide many dancers the opportunity to give back to their community through artistic expression. Throughout the past two decades, there has been tremendous growth in her program with more than 100 dancers joining her group. Each participant walks away with a different perspective about the Mexican heritage and the different cultures that have influenced Mexico for many generations.
