TLU's annual spring day of community service, Day of the Dogs, has been a university tradition for over a decade. This event is the chance to volunteer at local nonprofits and organizations as a way to give back to the city and people of Seguin.
If you wish to sign up as a group, team, or individually, please us this SignUp Genius link. Please note that sign-ups for particular sites are done on a first-come, first-serve basis and determined by group size. Sign-ups will close the week of February 28.
The majority of the sites will be outdoors-only and each site will be following CDC guidelines of mask-wearing and social distancing to help with slowing the spread of COVID-19. We are strongly recommending that students carpool only with people who they regularly interact with and wear a mask in the vehicle. Several sites are within walking/biking distance of campus and those sites are noted on the sign-up.
