SMA is a commuter or overnight camp where middle and high school students reside in dorms on the TLU campus and have the opportunity to participate in an optional Schlitterbahn evening activity, private lessons, and multiple electives throughout the week.  Community Music Academy Vocal Arts Camp 7/30/2012 to 8/3/2012 Location: TLU Campus
The Vocal Arts Camp offers a full week of singing and fun for students entering grades 3-12! All young singers are invited to join us for a week of learning group vocal technique, proper performance etiquette, and excellent choral and solo literature. The program will engage in activities that build music vocabulary, rhythmic, singing, social, gross and fine motor skills. The week will culminate in a group performance on the final afternoon of our camp. Each student will have the opportunity for private vocal coaching, solo performance, choral performance and acquiring healthy, productive vocal techniques. Vocal Arts Camp takes place July 30-August 3 from 1-5 p.m. at TLU. Tuition is $100 for the first family member and $75 for additional siblings. Registration ends July 20.

 Community Music Academy Summer Strings Camp 8/6/2012 to 8/10/2012 Location: TLU Campus
The Strings Summer Camp is a musical week with something for everyone—first through 12th graders who are experienced violin, viola, or cello students or beginners with no previous experience. Daily offerings will include private instruction, playing as a group, rock and improvisation training, basic music history and vocabulary lessons, rhythmic and note reading instruction, performances for students by faculty, crafts, games, and a final student performance for the parents. The Strings Camp takes place August 6-10 from 1-5 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Seguin. Tuition is $100 for the first family member and $75 for additional siblings. Registration ends August 1.
Strings Private Lessons and Ensembles for summer and fall 2012 are also open for registration. The fall registration deadline is September 1 for private string and guitar lessons, youth orchestra and youth choir.
